Meet the StaffMeet the staff at the East Springfield Veterinary Hospital. We have a wide range of knowledge and interests. That is what makes it so exciting to work here! Check us out..........

Amy ZanderAmy is Dr. Andrew Hersman's sister and Dr. Richard Hersman's daughter (see reference to Hersman Heart Fund)! She has been holding down the fort at ESVH since 1999 and is thrilled that her brother joined her in 2005.
She graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in International Affairs, and then pursued her graduate degree at Central Connecticut State University. Here, she earned her Masters of Science in Organizational Communication.
Although she loves the animals that she meets everyday, she focuses on the people that bring their beloved pets to ESVH! |
Amanda TetreaultAmanda came to ESVH from Angell Animal Medical Center- WNE. Her spunk, charisma and charm make each day interesting. Our clients have picked up on her positive nature and leave here thinking "that was enjoyable"!
Amanda's enthusiasm for animals does not end when she leaves the hospital. She promotes animal well-being through her pet sitting, dog walking and volunteer work. Whew! Amanda is a busy, busy person. Thankfully, she has the energy to handle it all. |
Ann HurlburtIt is great to have Ann on our team. She is another genuine animal lover. Ann splits her time between ESVH and the MSPCA animal shelter. If she can help out an animal friend (or human friend) in need, she will.
It's great to know people like her. Come in and meet her, if you haven't already. |
Becky BeaulieuWow are we lucky to have Becky. Becky comes from Angell Animal Medical Center- WNE, where she was employed for 8 years. She transitioned to our team with such grace and style. Her compassion and professionalism is a great addition to our team. It is a tribute to Becky's abilities when Angell clients are seeking and following her to her new place of employment.
We are proud to have her at ESVH! |
Bethany SiroisBethany is a fabulous addition to our team! She comes to us from a Connecticut veterinary hospital with a multitude of talent. She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and an expert in client education. We don't know how we got so lucky. But, we are not going to question it either.
Come in and meet Bethany. You'll be glad you did!!! |
Cora CarpenterWow! Has it been over 10 years already? Cora started at ESVH in 1997 as just a young pup herself. She has received her undergraduate and her Master's degree in Special Education.
Since Cora has a full-time job as a special education teacher, we get the opportunity to see her one night a week. But, when she is here, her heart is 100% with the animals. |
Dawn PalhaisDawn. If you have visited us within the past 15 years, you probably have met Dawn. She began working at ESVH in 1994 with Dr. Richard Hersman. Although, she has moved to the Cape, she still makes it to East Springfield every other Saturday to help our clients and their pets. She is a blessing! Her dedication to the patients, clients, and the clinic is evident in her tenure at the hospital. |
Jill CroweJill has been in the animal field for many years. From being a technician, to running the kennel in a large animal hospital, to being an animal control officer, Jill has seen it all! We count on Jill to help communicate and educate our clients. In order to keep our animal friends healthy, she makes sure their owners are equipped with the right knowledge. |
Karen Teri-SavageCome visit us during the evening and you may meet, Karen Teri-Savage. Karen is outgoing and easy to talk to, putting you at ease during your pet's exam. She has been a veterinary technician for many years. Her knowledge and ability to handle animals in different situations reinforces our strong staff.
We welcome Karen with open arms. I am sure you will find her to be a great addition to the ESVH. |
Kathy BrunettiAs our senior technician, Kathy brings a level of professionalism to our clinic that may not be found elsewhere. Kathy's love for animals is obvious in the care she gives to them at the hospital.
Her love for people is just as genuine. This attribute is so important in many facets of an animals life. There are times of happiness and times of struggle. Kathy will be with you every step of the way. |
Kerri FiorentinoKerri loves her dog Roxie! So much, that she decided she wanted to expand her horizons and enter the field of animal wellness. Kerri is one of our weekend warriors. You will see her helping our clients at the front desk. Thank you, Kerri!

Kimberley TurnerKim is our front office guru. She has been with ESVH since 2001. She is very involved with animals on many different levels. You may have seen her at the dog shows at the Eastern States Exposition, or you may have her groom your pretty pooch. She is a wealth of knowledge, just call us and find out! She would love to hear from you and help you if she can. |
Marilynn DuludeThere isn't a person in this world who adores animals more than Marilynn. Marilynn has been our best client for many, many years. She may have been one of our first clients!
