Meet the Staff

Meet the staff at the East Springfield Veterinary Hospital. We have a wide range of knowledge and interests. That is what makes it so exciting to work here! Check us out..........

Amy Zander

Amy Zander
Amy is Dr. Andrew Hersman's sister and Dr. Richard Hersman's daughter (see reference to Hersman Heart Fund)! She has been holding down the fort at ESVH since 1999 and is thrilled that her brother joined her in 2005.

She graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in International Affairs, and then pursued her graduate degree at Central Connecticut State University. Here, she earned her Masters of Science in Organizational Communication.

Although she loves the animals that she meets everyday, she focuses on the people that bring their beloved pets to ESVH!

Amanda Tetreault

Amanda Tetreault
Amanda came to ESVH from Angell Animal Medical Center- WNE. Her spunk, charisma and charm make each day interesting. Our clients have picked up on her positive nature and leave here thinking "that was enjoyable"!

Amanda's enthusiasm for animals does not end when she leaves the hospital. She promotes animal well-being through her pet sitting, dog walking and volunteer work. Whew! Amanda is a busy, busy person. Thankfully, she has the energy to handle it all.

Ann Hurlburt

It is great to have Ann on our team. She is another genuine animal lover. Ann splits her time between ESVH and the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society and T.J. O'Conner animal shelter. If she can help out an animal friend (or human friend) in need, she will.

It's great to know people like her. Come in and meet her, if you haven't already.

Becky Beaulieu, Veterinary Technologist

Becky Beaulieu, Veterinary Technologist
Wow are we lucky to have Becky. Becky graduated from Quinnipiac College with a B.S. in Veterinary Technology. She was also employed at Angell Animal Medical Center- WNE for 8 years. She transitioned to our team with such grace and style. Her compassion and professionalism is a great addition to our team. It is a tribute to Becky's abilities when Angell clients are seeking and following her to her new place of employment.

We are proud to have her at ESVH!

Bethany Sirois, LVT

Bethany Sirois, LVT
Bethany is a fabulous addition to our team! She comes to us from a Connecticut veterinary hospital with a multitude of talent. She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and an expert in client education. We don't know how we got so lucky. But, we are not going to question it either.

Come in and meet Bethany. You'll be glad you did!!!

Cora Carpenter

Cora Carpenter
Wow! Has it been over 10 years already? Cora started at ESVH in 1997 as just a young pup herself. She has received her undergraduate and her Master's degree in Special Education.

Since Cora has a full-time job as a special education teacher, we don't get the opportunity to see her often. But, when she is here, her heart is 100% with the animals.

Gerson Nivar

Gerson Nivar
You may know him better as G or G-man. Gerson is a fantastic addition to our family. His bright, cheery personality is just what the doctor ordered! Gerson is also a highly trained, emergency technician. His background includes working at emergency facilities in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. His knowledge and attitude is a perfect fit for our team.

Oh, did I mention--- he speaks Spanish! Hola, Gerson.

Jane Kelly

Practically perfect.....also defines Jane, not just Mary Poppins. Jane's extraordinary nature is so reassuring, loving, and caring. We just adore her! And, so will you. But, most importantly, so will your family pets. She has the uncanny ability to put you at ease under most any circumstance. That is truly a gift.

If you don't find Jane here, you'll probably see her on the third base line at Fenway! Go Sox!!

Jill Crowe

Jill Crowe
Jill has been in the animal field for many years. From being a technician, to running the kennel in a large animal hospital, to being an animal control officer, Jill has seen it all! We count on Jill to help communicate and educate our clients. In order to keep our animal friends healthy, she makes sure their owners are equipped with the right knowledge.

Kara Lombard

Wow! I couldn't believe it when I met Kara. Someone with our ideals-- fun loving and determined to protect the well-being of ALL animals.

Kara joins us after spending 8 1/2 years rescuing and treating animals at the M.S.P.C.A. She still spends her time volunteering at T.J. O'Connor.

We simply adore her; and so will you!!!

Karen Teri-Savage

Come visit us during the evening and you may meet, Karen Teri-Savage. Karen is outgoing and easy to talk to, putting you at ease during your pet's exam. She has been a veterinary technician for many years. Her knowledge and ability to handle animals in different situations reinforces our strong staff.

We welcome Karen with open arms. I am sure you will find her to be a great addition to the ESVH.

Kelley Barber

Kelley is a tremendous asset to our team. Her contagious smile may greet you at the door or her conscientious, caring nature may tend to your pet in the exam. Either way, working with Kelley is a treat.

Kelley started her career at the M.S.P.C.A. Rescuing and treating animals is in her blood.

I think with all her extra energy, Kelley is on a mission to save us all! She has also completed her R.N. certification. Don't think for a minute she can ever leave the animal world though. Her heart will always be there. We are lucky to have Kelley here with us at ESVH!

Kerri Fiorentino

Kerri loved her dog Roxie! So much, that she decided she wanted to expand her horizons and enter the field of animal wellness. Kerri is one of our weekend warriors. You will see her helping our clients at the front desk. Thank you, Kerri!

Kimberley Turner

Kimberley Turner
Kim is our front office guru. She has been with ESVH since 2001. She is very involved with animals on many different levels. You may have seen her at the dog shows at the Eastern States Exposition, or you may have her groom your pretty pooch. She is a wealth of knowledge, just call us and find out! She would love to hear from you and help you if she can.

Marilynn Dulude

Marilynn Dulude
There isn't a person in this world who adores animals more than Marilynn. Marilynn has been our best client for many, many years. She may have been one of our first clients!

She wanted to be near animals so much that we asked her to join our team. Marilynn is one of our evening receptionists. She is a genuine animal lover!

Nami Kudo, CVT

Nami, Certified Veterinary Technician. Certifiably Fantastic! Smart, kind, sweet, sensitive are just a few of the words that come to mind when you meet her. Just like her colleagues, Nami truly loves her chosen profession. We all have a passion for animals- that's why we are here. Nami, ALSO, has a passion for knowledge and science. Put those two together and you have a winning combination. She is an important team player in your pet's health and well-being!
