Andrew R. Hersman, DVM
Dr. Hersman began his career in the field of environmental engineering. After five years in the industry, he realized that his true passion was in veterinary medicine. He graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2004 and finished an internship program at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in East Greenwich, RI. The internship provided an education on the latest treatment, surgical, and diagnostic options in veterinary medicine, with a concentrated effort in emergency and critical care. Dr. Hersman loves his job, but also has a passion for sports. He especially likes to play hockey and golf and is a huge fan of the Red Sox.
Denise A. Chiminiello, DVM
Dr. Chiminiello began her career servicing human needs as a Licensed Practicing Nurse. After 15 years of experience in the medical field, she realized she would like to dedicate her services to helping the needs of the animal kingdom.
Dr. Chiminiello graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She has been caring for the patients at East Springfield Veterinary Hospital since 1995.
William D. Anderson, DVM
Dr. Anderson graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2006. Here, he gained medical and surgical experience with a wide array of animal species ranging from dogs and cats to pigs, cattle and horses. Prior to veterinary school, he studied at the University of Connecticut achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Pathobiology. Go Huskies! Outside of the clinic, Dr. Anderson spends time helping out on the family farm. He also enjoys bowling, softball, and has a strong appreciation for the outdoors. Growing up in Alaska will do that to a man!
Hannah F. Belcher-Timme, DVM
Energetic! Creative! Progressive! Yes, that is Dr. Hannah Belcher-Timme! Hannah graduated from Cornell University, College of Veterinary Medicine in June 2016 with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her specific interests focused on nutrition, dentistry, surgery, behavior, and clinical research. Hannah completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont, Burlington, VT, Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in 2011. She is such a bright and cheerful addition to our team. People and animals, alike, seem to gravitate towards her dynamic personality! Please stop in to welcome her to the East Springfield Veterinary Hospital team.
Leah Guidry, DVM
Dr. Guidry graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2015. Prior to veterinary school, she completed her undergrad at the University of Florida achieving a Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences. Dr. Guidry completed an internship in Equine Sports Medicine in Lexington, KY. Growing up in an Air Force family, Dr. Guidry moved around a lot, but mostly grew up in the south. She especially has an interest in animal dentistry and sports medicine. Outside of work, you can find Dr. Guidry hiking, knitting or crocheting, baking bread, reading, or gardening. She has a few pets at home including a dog, cats, horses, and chickens!
